Pelle Sunnerot has spent over 20 years focused on one thing: helping organisations grow, revenue, sales, brand awareness, market presence, organisational capability. This has happened in roles as strategist, project manager, account director, team lead, department head and management team member, on the agency side and the client side.

His career began in the agency world, where he worked for many years as a strategist, project manager and account director. Then came the management titles: team lead, department head, Head of Creative and COO. In parallel, and later full-time, came client-side roles: marketing manager, marketing director, global marketing director and Chief Marketing Officer in companies across tech, gaming and industry.

Along the way it has meant building teams, leading international launches, executing strategic restructurings, managing investor relations and conducting negotiations, sometimes as the employer's voice, sometimes as the employees'.

Leadership, as Pelle sees it, is about creating conditions, not about being the one who has all the answers. Clarity about direction and mandate, transparency about what can be shared and what cannot, inclusion of diverse perspectives, and a genuine belief in every employee's capability.

A group is stronger than an individual. Mistakes are a prerequisite for learning. And a working environment characterised by respect, curiosity and humour delivers better results than one characterised by fear and control.

These are not idealistic principles. They are conclusions drawn from 20 years of seeing what actually works.
